Emerald inclusions
Most emeralds will show some inclusions.
You want to find a piece that has very few inclusions, which give the gem a cloudy appearance.
The delicate nature of the emerald gemstone makes it very difficult to find inclusion-free pieces. These are very rare.
An inclusion can be solid, liquid, or a gas embedded inside the gemstone. Inclusion also applies to fractures, cleavage cracks, color zoning, growth lines, crystal and bubbles.
